About This Intensive
Every morning we will meet for three hours in a studio overlooking the Eiffel Tower and the rooftops of Paris. Continental breakfast, short-lectures, mini-workshops, and thought-provoking discussions will be included.
After the first day of class, join a tour of the Left Bank. Discover the best cafés, restaurants, and libraries where you may want to read or write during your time off.
In the afternoons and evenings, you will be free to write on your own, explore Paris, or visit museums and open-air markets.
You will have the option to join us for three evening programs: a play in French with English subtitles at the iconic Odeon Theater, a jazz concert, and a complimentary cocktail reception.
We'll also provide you with a list of recommended cultural events happening in Paris that week.
Tuition ($750) Includes:
Pre-travel orientation
Four three-hour workshop seminars
Four French breakfasts
A goodbye cocktail reception
A tour of the Left Bank of Paris
Optional night outings: theater and jazz.
Students are responsible for all additional costs including airfare, hotel, meals, and tickets for the two optional night activities.
Notes: Some students will travel to Paris alone, while other students will travel with significant others. The goodbye cocktail reception, tour, and optional night activities will be open to your travel companions.
